Beware, contains minor spoilers.

Wow. Just wow. There are few words to describe my emotions of this new season of The Mandalorian. It was a great second season and Disney’s investors meeting revealed two more seasons of the Mandalorian and I’m hoping they are as enjoyable as this season has been. These past few years have been amazing for Star Wars. Whether it is animated or live action. It’s been a long journey. But the story is not over; in fact, the story has just begun. This season for me personally has been a rollercoaster of emotions with each episode getting better than the last. It has truly been an amazing experience which has been hosted by a team of amazing directors led by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau; two incredible people who have made legendary movies and shows. It was just pure fan service with each crossover getting better than the last. I knew this season was going to be better than last season from the first episode because of the reveal that Boba Fett escaped the sarlacc. A lot happened this season. There were so many good crossovers and references towards past and future events. With reference to Legendary characters like Master Yoda and Anakin Skywalker and special appearances from fan favourite characters such as Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, R2D2 and Luke Skywalker. I really enjoyed the cameos and how the characters interacted with these more famous characters. My favourite moments from this season were Mando holding the darksaber, Ahsoka’s Episode, Luke’s arrival in the final episode and Boba getting back his armour from Mando. There were other less recognisable moments in the season that were enough to put a smile on my face. These moments were in Ahsoka’s episode where she referenced Yoda and Anakin. At the end of the day, there were a lot of things that took me a while to process, but they were brilliantly executed. This season made me properly fall in love with Star Wars again and I just wish that people felt that same way I do. These moments aren’t just about what happens in the scene, it’s about what they represent; not just in The Mandalorian, but in all of Star Wars. Everything has a meaning and everyone has a different way of presenting that meaning. By Trey Mitchell-Andrews
