The Felixstowe and Walton football game.
So, we shall get into the facts and not keep you waiting (the people in the red kits were the 'Whites' and the people in the blue kits were the 'Reds')...
The Beginning
The game was tense, favouring the Reds but an extremely fast change in pace towards the end. After an amazingly fast 15 minutes, Oliver Martin scored for the Reds, so the game was already not looking good for the Whites. But within the blink of an eye, another member of the Reds, Brandon Luu Perez, scored - making it 2-0 - and this was the score up until half time.
After Half Time
After half time, 40 minutes into a game that was 80+15 minutes, the game was slow. Morale was low for both teams as their members were getting injured; the game was going nowhere for the Whites as the Reds were walling the goal off like it was worth 1 billion pounds, so as the game approached 60 minutes it was still 2-0. But, as if a miracle were to happen, a light at the end of the darkest tunnel known to the crowd was shone, and at 68 minutes, the Whites finally scored a goal bringing back hope. But was it enough?
The Very Cheerful Change of Events
So, as the demise was imminent for the Whites, the team pulled something together, which must have come from encouragement at half time. Towards what seemed like the end, at 79 minutes the one and only white to score previously, Archie Dunne, scored again, making it a tie for the whole game within a period of 11 minutes!
The Grand Finale
To bring the game to a grand finale, it got to 21:07 (or 87 minutes into the game), the Whites scored the final goal making 3-2 for the whole game. Full time and the game-ending whistle brought comfort for the White supporters. Finally, it was a fast and raging turn around for the Whites, and a taunting, disrespectful defeat for the Reds (who threw shoes at me, so little sympathy for them). If I could, I would watch it repeatedly.
The Other Comments
Besides being completely biased to the whites, the reds played well, they just pulled the short straw. A lot of their members celebrated too early, especially their goalkeeper. But the teams were balanced and fair albeit a lot of the members of both teams got injured but the reds were getting injured more. The crowds were chanting for the reds, taunting the whites, saying they had a better goalkeeper, but when your goalkeeper gives up, are they really better?
